Thanks to the Orange Flags of the Touring Club and through the stand dedicated to them, Alberona renews its participation in the most World Exhibition of the Italian tourist. A journey that, in the following years, he recorded for the country to enter the exclusive club of "The Most Beautiful Villages of Italy" and had evidence of importance not only in the growth of the costs of receiving visitors, but also in developing new business in the catering and services sectors. Just to
Alberona, on 13 October, the Touring Club, the Region Apulia, Province of Foggia, Gal Meridaunia and 30 municipalities met to "The States-General of tourism promotion Dauni Mountains," a panel discussion attended by Silvia Godelli, Councillor for the Mediterranean Region of Puglia, Maria Elvira Council Vice-President of the Province of Foggia, national leaders of Touring Club, mayors and councilors of the municipalities in the mountain of captains. A sign of how great example of the small-Alberona has become somehow 'paradigm' for the development of tourism in the province of Foggia and the integration of excellence expressed by the countries of the Mountains Dauni.
